WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT US

As our honored guest...
  • You may expect a warm welcome from loving and dedicated Christians (Matthew 25:40).
  • You may expect a simple, yet profound and spiritual worship service according to the pattern for the church which is revealed in the New Testament (John 4:24).
  • You may expect the men to lead us in prayer and singing.  Our prayers are reverent and directed to our Heavenly Father.  Our singing is voice only, unaccompanied by mechanical instruments of music. (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
  • You may expect us to partake of the Lord's Supper. We do this each first day of the week, following the example of the first century Christians.  (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 26:28).
  • You may expect the word of God to be preached boldly (Ephesians 6:19-20).
  • You may expect a contribution to be taken from the members. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). No visitor is ever expected to make a contribution.
  • You may expect to be asked to fill out an attendance card. Of course this is voluntary, you will not be made to feel that you have to give us any personal information.
  • You may expect that you will never be singled out or embarrassed in any way.
If you have any questions concerning the church please contact us at (276) 669-6221 or email us.

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."  (Acts 2:42)
